Korean BBQ Chicken

I’m a lazy cook. Which is pretty good, considering a couple years I would’ve simply said “I don’t cook”. But yeah, I’m a lazy cook. When I’m hungry, I’m hungry and I don’t want to starve to death while I’m spending 37 hours making something to eat. So, for dinner the other night I made Korean Barbecue Chicken with white rice and turnip kimchi (깍두기 – Ggakdugee). So good. And so quick and easy.

The white rice I pretty much keep on deck with the help of my handy dandy rice cooker. Same with the kimchi, which I buy from the Korean Supermarket (I’m half Korean but that half never learned how to make kimchi). I did cook the chicken which took me less than 10 minutes to cook. All I needed was boneless, skinless chicken strips and the marinade to cook it in, which I also purchased from the Korean supermarket.

I suppose you could add in some vegetables but I’m one of those people who gets mad at all the vegetables overpowering my meat when I go to the Korean restaurant so I choose to leave them out.

You can’t tell me that doesn’t look good.
