I’m a lazy cook. Which is pretty good, considering a couple years I would’ve simply said “I don’t cook”. But yeah, I’m a lazy cook. When I’m hungry, I’m hungry and I don’t want to starve to death while I’m spending 37 hours making something to eat. So, for dinner the other night I made Korean Barbecue Chicken with white rice and turnip kimchi (깍두기 – Ggakdugee). So good. And so quick and easy.
The white rice I pretty much keep on deck with the help of my handy dandy rice cooker. Same with the kimchi, which I buy from the Korean Supermarket (I’m half Korean but that half never learned how to make kimchi). I did cook the chicken which took me less than 10 minutes to cook. All I needed was boneless, skinless chicken strips and the marinade to cook it in, which I also purchased from the Korean supermarket.
I suppose you could add in some vegetables but I’m one of those people who gets mad at all the vegetables overpowering my meat when I go to the Korean restaurant so I choose to leave them out.
You can’t tell me that doesn’t look good.

DUDE, this is one of my favorite things in the whole wide world! The bf makes it for me like once a month, he makes the marinade himself and it takes about an hour to cook but it’s sooo worth the wait. My mouth is watering just thinking about it. *drools*
Yong makes his own marinade? Let me quit playing and go find myself a Korean boyfriend.
