And then she shopped.

I’ll admit I straightened up my closet yesterday before I took that picture to post on the internets for everyone (and by everyone I mean all 10 of you) to see. Typically there’s randomness all over the floor, shoes out of the their boxes and clothes off their hangers. And in the process of straightening up I decided to get rid of / donate more than half my wardrobe. There was just way too much clothes in there that I never wear anymore or had never worn at all taking up precious space. And because of this, I decided with my great Victoria logic that I needed to do some shopping to fill up some of the now empty hangers. Actually, I decided to do the shopping before I decided to get rid of the clothes, but this justification makes me feel just a little bit better about spending the money. Or, I could call it a late birthday present to myself seeing as my birthday was just last month. Right? No? Oh.

Either way, some shopping was done. And while I won’t share everything I’ve bought recently with you, I will share some of my favorites.

First up, these Jeffrey Campbell Rockette platforms in leopard. Oh, how I love me some leopard print. I honestly believe you can’t have enough. I even have a Pinterest board dedicated to all that is leopard print. Yeah, it’s that serious.

Oh, and how great is the inside of this box? I’ve never bought a pair of Jeffrey Campbell’s before, so I never knew he did this but how awesome is it that he puts advertisements for adoptable cats inside the box? My sister would love this.

I also went ahead and purchased these J Brand wide leg trousers while ShopBop was giving an additional 30% off sale items, so I ended up getting a really good price on them. Not as good as they’re priced now, but not much worse either. They’re actually pretty similar to, in wash & style, a pair of Adam Lippes’ I bought not too long ago, so I contemplated sending them back. But they’re different enough and the price was good enough that I’ve decided to keep them. They also are available in white, although those are still full priced.

Lastly (as far as this blog post is concerned) I purchased these Noir Wrecking Ball earrings that I have been coveting for months but at over $300, I was not willing to splurge on. It didn’t keep me from checking on them regularly to make sure they were still as awesome as the first time I saw them. Yes, I cyber-stalk items I’m in love with. Last week I checked on them and they had gone on sale 30%. Good, but still not good enough. So yesterday when I checked on them and saw that they were 50% off AND there were only 2 pair left, I had to snatch em up. I’m glad I did too, because now they’re completely sold out. I haven’t received them yet, but I am the proud owner of several Noir pieces, so I don’t imagine they’ll disappoint.

Right. I was just thinking everything I’ve been buying lately has been either dresses, bottoms or shoes. Pretty soon I’m going to be out here topless. But not really, LOL.

      Anyways, thanks girl!
